Life Transition and Significant Event Treatment: Significant life changes such as starting at, or graduating from, college or a graduate program, a new job, a career transition, getting married, becoming a parent, or managing the loss of a loved one, can be very difficult. Meeting with a mental health specialist for an evaluation, and discussion of treatment options (including psychotherapy) can be very helpful. These types of events can also make individuals more vulnerable to anxiety, depression, substance use, or other struggles, where medication management may also be an important option.

Substance Abuse Disorder Treatments: Alcohol use disorders including alcoholism (alcohol dependence), alcohol abuse and binge drinking, Opiate use disorders, tobacco use disorders, cannabis use disorder, sedative use disorders (abuse of benzodiazepines and sleep medications for example) and others.
“De-Prescribing” of Psychiatric Medications, including controlled substances. Some of our providers have had specific training in tapering individuals off of psychiatric medications, including SSRIs, SNRIs, Benzodiazepines, hypnotics (such as Ambien) and others.
