Online and in-office Therapy can be provided for patients struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, insomnia and sleep disorders, substance use disorders and other mental illness. Psychotherapy can additional be helpful for individuals struggling with low self-esteem, significant life transitions, cultural adjustments, attachment difficulties, relationship, school and work stress, issues related to gender and orientation, perfectionism and others.

Will my Psychologist or Therapist Collaborate with my Prescriber?
Absolutely. Your therapist at Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates will collaborate with your prescriber, whether they are a colleague at RPA or work outside of our practice. Therapy can be more effective when providers collaborate, and with a signed release (you giving us permission), we will be happy to work closely with your other psychiatric and medical providers.
How Long will I be in Therapy?
Therapy can be focused on a specific problem, or the acquisition of specific coping skills, resulting in a short-course of treatment (often 4-8 session). In-office and online therapy can also be utilized for processing and working through long-term or chronic difficulties or conditions (3-6 months of treatment or longer). There is no “one-size-fits-all” for psychotherapy and the Psychologists and therapists at Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates will work with you, to create a plan, and course of therapy, that best fits your individual needs and situation.
