Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates is excited to announce that our Psychiatrists and mental health providers are now serving Reading, Wyomissing, Laureldale, Morgantown and the surrounding areas. We treat anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD and addiction (alcohol and opiate dependence). We offer in-office Psychiatric visits within a 45 minute drive, and Telehealth virtual psychiatric appointments direct to your home in Berks County. We treat children, adolescents and adults.
We are a private psychiatry practice comprised of over 25 psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners and psychotherapists, who are academically oriented, evidenced-based and holistic. We believe that quality psychiatric treatment needs to be comprehensive and thorough. Our providers trained at some of the best academic psychiatric institutions in the country and most of our providers currently teach, or have taught, at these same institutions. We have several offices throughout Pennsylvania and our providers are licensed throughout the state. We are familiar with local area resources, and have included mental health resources below for Reading and Berks County. We treat anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD and Substance use Disorders. Our practice was founded in 2012 by Dr. Chris Pagnani, an Instructor at The Johns Hopkins Hospital who also supervises psychiatric residents at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. Many of our providers teach, or have taught, at hospitals such as Johns Hopkins, The University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson Hospital. As such, we’re able to deliver the same type of quality mental health care as these institutions, but without the wait. Appointments are typically available with one of our providers within 2-3 weeks.
Student Mental Health Resources
Many of our providers at Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates have a focus on college and graduate student mental health services and treatment. In addition to treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD and addiction, we offer evaluations and diagnosis for accommodations for work and school (most-frequently for ADHD and Adult Autism Spectrum Disorders). Several of our providers additionally, have a focus on LGBTQIA+ care. We welcome all individuals, and understand that college students and young adults have their own unique stressors and difficulties… we’re here to help.

With that said, patients are often surprised to find that they may be reimbursed a significant percentage of their visit fees, with our practice.
