Student Mental Health Services We Provide

Our student mental health services include a range of clinical care and supportive resources designed to help students succeed academically and personally:

  • Psychiatric Evaluations for Students
Comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose underlying mental health conditions and create individualized treatment plans that support long-term academic and personal success.
  • Medication Management
Our psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners carefully monitor medications, adjust treatment as needed, and help students manage symptoms while minimizing side effects and supporting academic performance.
  • Individual Therapy
Evidence-based therapy helps students build coping skills, reduce anxiety and depression, improve emotional resilience, and navigate school, relationships, and major life transitions.
  • Neuropsychological Testing
Comprehensive testing evaluates ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning differences, and other neurodevelopmental conditions while providing recommendations that support academic success and accommodations.
  • Academic Accommodation Documentation
We provide documentation for 504 Plans, IEPs, and college disability services to help eligible students receive the ADHD and other accommodations they need to succeed.

Collaboration with Schools and Universities

Our Psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners coordinate care with school counselors, disability offices, pediatricians, and campus counseling centers to ensure students receive seamless support.

While we are a private practice of psychiatry, we also serve as a long-term resource for local student counseling centers. Counseling centers typically can only treat students for short periods of time due to limited resources, before referring out into the community. We are able to provide long-term treatment for students, with both in-office and virtual availability. Read more about our office policies here.

Mental Health Support for Students Transitioning to College

Starting college is an exciting but challenging time for many students. Our student mental health services help high school graduates prepare for the academic and emotional demands of college life, fostering resilience and independence. We also support students adjusting to campus environments, including those navigating gender identity, sexual orientation, or cultural challenges.
