Sonya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration. She trained in CBT at the Beck Institute at the University of Pennsylvania and in Family Systems Intervention at the Minuchin Family Institute in Tel Aviv. She has spent over 30 years directing operations and program development for mental health, substance use, and detoxification programs across the Philadelphia Metropolitan region, Lehigh Valley, and Delaware. She is a trainer and speaker on Recovery Oriented Systems of Care in collaboration with Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disabilities.
