Professional Background
Dr. Bu graduated with High Honors from Harvard College and earned her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and received advanced psychotherapy training through the Preparatory Program in Psychoanalysis and Dynamic Psychotherapy at the New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, where she supervises psychiatry residents, and has published research in multiple peer-reviewed journals.
