Dr. Hardy is a board-certified Psychiatrist through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, specializing in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Perinatal Psychiatry, and Adult Psychiatry. He provides in-person care at Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates’ Center City location in Philadelphia and offers virtual appointments throughout Pennsylvania and New York.

He treats a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, depression, and co-occurring conditions with autism spectrum disorder. He has a particular interest in working with young children and parents of young children. His additional fellowship in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health deepened his expertise in supporting both peripartum mothers and preschool-aged youth.

Dr. Hardy creates individualized, developmentally informed treatment plans that may include medication management, parenting strategies, and specific therapy recommendations. He also collaborates closely with schools, therapists, and primary care providers to ensure a well-coordinated approach to care.

Dr. Hardy completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University and earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he received the Dean’s Award for outstanding contributions. He completed his general psychiatry residency at Northwestern Medicine, where he received a teaching award from medical students. He went on to complete a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry through the joint program at Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia University, serving as Chief Fellow. He then completed an additional fellowship in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health at Weill Cornell.
