Emily Bernstein, MD, is the Lead Clinical Physician and Director of Women’s Mental Health at Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates, bringing over two decades of experience treating psychiatric illness through both psychopharmacology and individual psychotherapy.

Dr. Bernstein graduated summa cum laude in History from the University of Pennsylvania, then earned her medical degree and completed her psychiatry residency at Penn’s School of Medicine. She served for 10 years as Director of Women’s Behavioral Health at Crozer Medical Center, where she led a team of psychiatrists and therapists, chaired the Psychiatric Peer Review Committee, and helped establish the Psychiatric Residency Program.
