Understanding Student Mental Health

Student mental health focuses on the emotional and psychological well-being of high school, college, and graduate students. Our team understands the unique challenges this population faces and offers support for conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.

  • Medication Management for Student Mental Health: Ongoing psychiatric care focused on diagnosis, stabilization, symptom management, and improved academic performance, supported by consistent access to student mental health services.
  • Individual Student Therapy: Evidence-based therapy that helps students manage anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, and major life transitions, while reinforcing practical student mental health resources and coping strategies.

Collaboration with Schools and Universities

While we are not directly affiliated with campus counseling centers, we frequently collaborate with schools and universities as an extension of existing student mental health resources. Many institutions refer students to our practice for ongoing care when campus services are limited, allowing us to provide consistent, long-term student mental health services beyond short-term academic support models.

Transitioning to College: Mental Health Support

Starting college is an exciting but challenging time for many students. Our student mental health services help high school graduates prepare for the academic and emotional demands of college life, fostering resilience and independence. We also support students adjusting to campus environments, including those navigating gender identity, sexual orientation, or cultural challenges.
