Dr. MacIntyre earned her Ph.D. from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology, a consortium comprised of Old Dominion University, Norfolk State University, and Eastern Virginia Medical School. She has provided therapy and psychological assessment in a variety of clinical settings, including medical settings, college counseling centers, and elementary and high schools. She is an Associate Professor at Millersville University where she teaches courses and provides clinical supervision on cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approaches. She has published peer-reviewed journal articles on body image concerns and presented her work at national conferences.
