Nicole Palaio, MS, LPC is a licensed clinical therapist in Pennsylvania. Nicole is passionate about working with adolescents and adults using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-informed interventions to assist with improved emotion regulation, interpersonal and communication skills, self-concept, and self-worth. Nicole specializes in working with people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, mood disorders, relationships, trauma and PTSD, peer issues, school issues and ADHD. Nicole uses a strengths-based and person-centered approach to identify an individual’s strengths and supports as aids in managing mental health. She incorporates wellness strategies to assist clients in promoting a well-balanced life emotionally, socially, spiritually, physically, mentally, and sexually.
Nicole received Bachelor’s Degrees in Crime, Law & Justice and Psychology at Penn State before earning her Master’s Degree in Community and Trauma Counseling from Philadelphia University. She has completed and been certified as a trainer for Pennsylvania’s Mandated Reporter Training Program and Practice Self-Regulation (PS-R).
